I haven’t been online for some time due to a massive increase in work commitments and some health issues, but I have been working on Rolamaton stories behind the scenes and planning some changes here and there, too.
One of these changes will affect The Berter Family stories, that I’m renaming into The Gearshift Family.
I’m changing their last name because “Berter” didn’t sit right with me: it felt more like a placeholder that had been put there waiting for a better name that would really suit an Electronian bot.
Well, Gearshift is the final choice. I couldn’t get the name out of my mind and I grew fonder of it over time, so yeah – The Gearshift Family it is.
I already changed the name in my older posts here on my blog; now I’ll have to change it within the old stories and some from the Rolamaton continuity, too, but that’s fine. I’m excited for the change!

Other Writing Updates
After so much struggle, I’m finally back to work on my 21-year old novel in Italian, Per Me, Perle Bianche. There were scenes and dialogues that felt too naive, too immature, so I’m giving them a makeover.
I’m proud of my work on this novel, and I’m a big fan of my characters, since they’ve been with me for two decades. 😀 I hope to do them justice in the final version of the book.
In other news, I’m about to give Daily Science Fiction a try and submit a short story the next week. I’m excited and I’m crossing fingers tight that they accept it for publication!
